Twitter Spaces team confirms space creation functionality coming to Android along with a brief feature roadmap

Spaces team was hosting their weekly talk on Spaces that was dedicated to its Android version. Apart from a possibility to create spaces that should come to Android testers next week, the team mentioned a list of features that they are working on already.

Most of them were related to additional Space control features like:

  • Changing Space description
  • Muting all or individual listeners
  • Sharing advanced Space cards that show host status and information
  • Additional UI improvements for hosts to see who is in the space in a more aggregated or relevant way

Twitter Spaces team also confirmed that this feedback form will give you a chance to participate in testing.
