TinyFish has opened two community programs that pay students and independent developers to build agents on its web APIs.The Student Program and Ambassador Program are free to join. Both use a shared bounty board and automatic promotion. Participants move up by shipping work, not by filing applications.

Both tracks follow the same process. New briefs are posted each month at tinybounties.com. Participants claim a brief, build on TinyFish primitives, and submit a repository through the dashboard. The team reviews each entry and marks it approved or rejected, with reasons attached. Multiple people can solve the same brief and all receive rewards if their work meets the published criteria.

  • An agentic app earns 50 leaderboard points and a $50 gift card.
  • A Skill earns 20 points and $20.
  • A prompt earns 10 points and $10.

Approved builds are published under the builder's name on TinyFish use case pages and in its open-source cookbook.

The student track is open to anyone enrolled at any school worldwide. Signing up with a .edu address adds $35 in wallet credit automatically. Three approved builds promote a participant to Student Builder. This unlocks a LinkedIn certification and a credited build log on the TinyFish blog. Top names on the campus leaderboard are invited to become Campus Lead. The role includes a paid budget for local events, a verified LinkedIn badge, and letters of reference from founders.

The ambassador track is open to anyone. All participants start as Referral Partners with $8 in wallet credit and a personal link. Each qualified signup pays $5 in credit to both the referrer and the new user. A signup only counts after the referred agent makes its first successful call to one of the four primitives. Clicks alone do not qualify. Fifty qualified signups in a quarter automatically promote a Referral Partner to Advocate. Regional Ambassador is by invitation, with a target of 250 qualified signups per quarter and monthly events.

TinyFish provides infrastructure for AI agents to operate on the live web. Its four primitives cover search, page fetching, cloud browser sessions, and multi-step web automation, all behind a single API key. The Web Agent reports 89.9 percent accuracy on the Mind2Web benchmark.TinyFish raised a $47 million Series A led by ICONIQ. Customers include Google, Amazon, DoorDash, and Grubhub. These community tracks follow an earlier accelerator with Mango Capital, which funded nine weeks of remote building with a $2 million seed pool before applications closed in April. The new programs aim to reach students and solo developers who choose their tools early, before procurement.
