DuckDuckGo finally got Favourites feature to show starred websites on a new tab page

DuckDuck Go browser got a new option that allows users to mark pages as favourites. These favourited websites can be found on a new tab page grid (finally!) as well as on the bookmarks page. They will appear in a separate Favorite row top of other bookmarks.

What's New:

Now you can add sites you love as Favorites, and they'll appear right at your fingertips whenever you open a new tab.

How to test:

  • Open any webpage.
  • Tap on the 3 dots menu.
  • Select "Add Favorite" option.
  • Open a new tab page to see a new thumbnail.

I personally think that it is a huge improvement to usability while I am not sure if it contradicts any of the concepts behind the DuckDuckGo project 🤔
