OpenAI recently released an update to their 4o model. The new 4o version, named on November 20th, was previously spotted on LMArena as an anonymous chatbot. According to evaluations, it delivers excellent results and performs particularly well in the creative writing category. This has also been highlighted by the official OpenAI account on X.

The model’s creative writing ability has leveled up–more natural, engaging, and tailored writing to improve relevance & readability.
It’s also better at working with uploaded files, providing deeper insights & more thorough responses.
The version available in ChatGPT received an update as well. However, it is a different model, and the new version from November is only available in the API for now.
