Anthropic has put Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion into beta, expanding Claude’s artifact tools from documents and presentations to live data views and coded animation. Dashboards is available on paid plans, while Motion is limited to Team and Enterprise. Docs, Slides, and Design have also left beta and are now available on every Claude plan, including Free.

Claude Dashboards connects to platforms such as Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks, and Snowflake. Users ask questions in plain language, and Claude retrieves answers, builds a dashboard, and keeps it current as the underlying data changes. It also works with connectors such as Salesforce. Each chart displays its refresh time, and users can open any number to inspect or ask Claude to explain the query behind it. Dashboards can move into supported BI and analytics tools for deeper work, with Looker, monday[.]com, and Tableau coming soon.

Motion converts reports, charts, and product walkthroughs into short animated explainers. Claude writes editable code for the text, shapes, images, charts, and timing instead of using a video-generation model, so there is no generated footage or AI-generated people. Users can revise the result in the editor or through a prompt, download an MP4, or continue in supported creative tools. Canva and Captions support is planned.

The broader artifact suite now supports team editing, admin-controlled external sharing, PowerPoint and PDF exports that retain formatting, editable Google Slides exports, and mobile editing. Anthropic says more than 45 million documents, decks, and designs have been created in Claude. Enterprise controls include customer-managed encryption keys and administrator-selected templates.

Anthropic is also folding standalone Claude Design into Claude, where it has worked inside conversations since September 16 with access to context, files, and connectors. The standalone site remains available until December 14. Organizations can migrate every team design system from the Artifacts page, but chats, comments, and public project links from the standalone version will not remain available after it closes.

For Enterprise customers, Dashboards and Motion are disabled by default and can be activated under Organization settings > Artifacts. Docs, Slides, and Design will switch on by default on October 15, though administrators can enable them earlier.
