I've been looking at Cohere for a while but never had a chance to explore it properly. Their latest command-r7b-12-2024 model also got quite a decent performance recently. If you haven't heard about Cohere yet, it is positioned as an AI platform for Enterprise.
Some of the things I discovered are either internal tools, paid-only features, or some legacy demos. Also, it has an open-source version that anyone can fork.
For example, the Chat UI comes with a default model, while there is also an internal menu where the newest model can be selected along with other settings (screenshot on top).
There is an option to create custom zero-shot tools if you want to test the capabilities of the model to produce structured outputs. I'm wondering if it is already available to enterprise customers 👀
The dashboard links to some areas I don't have access to and where I didn't explore further:
- Embed Jobs - Currently available via API, and it seems to be a UI that tracks their progress.
- No code: dashboard & deployments - Some no-code solution for custom chatbots?
- Rerank link - Likely a legacy demo link to demonstrate the search capabilities of the Rerank model.
And they are working on a Dark Mode as well! But is seems to be still in development.
