Google has announced the global expansion of Opal, its AI-powered mini-app builder, to 15 additional countries including Canada, India, Japan, and Brazil. This move follows a trial phase in the United States, where early adopters quickly moved beyond basic tools and developed complex, creative applications, prompting Google to broaden access. The target audience includes creators and individuals interested in building custom AI mini-apps without writing code.
Today, Opal is rolling out to Canada, India, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil, Singapore, Colombia, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panamá, Honduras, Argentina and Pakistan. We are working hard to make Opal available in even more countries soon.

Opal is now available in selected regions across North and South America, Asia, and Southeast Asia. The platform remains part of Google Labs, allowing users to construct AI-driven workflows using natural language prompts.
