Meta Connect starts Wednesday, September 23, and Meta’s developer platform appears to be preparing for a broader expansion around the event. Expectations include a model from a new family beyond Avocado, the family associated with Muse Spark. The reported internal name is Watermelon, although we have not yet found references to it in the platform’s sources.
More concrete traces point to three unreleased sections on Meta’s developer platform: Video Playground, Voice Playground, and Connectors. Meta recently expanded its Model API with Muse Spark 1.3, Muse Image, and Muse Voice Transcribe. Muse Video was officially previewed earlier this year as “coming soon,” so a dedicated Video Playground suggests developers may gain API access to the model. The Voice Playground could similarly arrive alongside additional voice-generation models beyond the transcription model available today.
Meta announced Muse Connectors, enabling developers and businesses to submit their own via a Muse platform.

The Connectors section may be particularly relevant to Muse, Meta’s personal agent. Muse already supports connectors, and Meta has been accepting developer submissions. A dedicated developer-facing section could turn this into a more structured connector ecosystem where developers submit integrations that Muse, and potentially shared agents, can use.
TestingCatalog also spotted traces of a dedicated integration between Meta Platform and Oracle Cloud. Oracle already offers Meta’s Llama models through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or OCI, but the new integration appears to be connected specifically to Meta’s newer developer platform.
The timing is notable. Oracle is hosting a September 23 session with Deloitte focused on applying AI to banking, including lending, compliance, fraud, and customer service (Right around the Meta Connect event). Taken together, the Meta Platform traces and Oracle’s enterprise AI push leave open the possibility of a deeper Meta-Oracle announcement around enterprise model access. Whether that involves Muse Spark, another upcoming model family, or finance-specific deployments remains unclear.
