xAI has launched Grok Business and Grok Enterprise to deploy Grok across teams. Grok Business is self-serve at $30 per seat per month, while Enterprise targets larger organizations. xAI states that business usage comes with higher rate limits and assures that customer data is not used for model training. The business tiers cover Grok 3, Grok 4, and Grok 4 Heavy, available on web, iOS, Android, and X.
Employees are provided with a dedicated team workspace where conversation sharing is restricted to licensed teammates. The initial app integration starts with Google Drive, utilizing permission-aware retrieval and providing answers that cite source files with quote previews. For larger repositories, Projects can execute agentic searches over document stores via xAI's Collections API.
Admins can enable Drive access at the workspace level through OAuth and have the option to scope usage to everyone or selected users. Syncing begins after setup and checks for updates approximately every hour; very large files are indexed up to the first 128 MB, and access remains read-only. Management is conducted in the xAI console, which includes seats, billing, SOC 2 and role-based controls, along with usage analytics.
Enterprise offers additional features such as custom SSO, SCIM directory sync, centralized organization governance, and advanced audit controls. Enterprise Vault provides an isolated data plane, application-level encryption, and customer-managed encryption keys. xAI indicates that more app connections and business agents are forthcoming.
