This launch follows Google's strategy to expand access to generative video tools, as Veo 3.1 Lite is priced at less than half the cost of Veo 3.1 Fast while maintaining comparable speed. The company is also reducing the price of Veo 3.1 Fast starting April 7, further lowering barriers for developers.
