Base44 has shipped a skills library for its Superagents platform, giving users access to over 130 pre-built, domain-specific capabilities that can be added to any AI agent in a single click. The update is now live for all Base44 users.

The library spans seven major categories: Marketing; Business; Data; Design; Content; Coding; Research

Once a skill is enabled, it applies automatically across every conversation with no repeat configuration required. Skills are built to stack and compound across sessions, meaning an agent handling a product launch could simultaneously draw on marketing positioning, competitive research, and copywriting without the user having to set up separate workflows for each.

For teams or individuals who need something outside the 130 pre-built options, Base44 has built custom skill creation directly into the conversation layer. Users describe what they want their agent to know or do, and the platform converts that into a reusable skill tied to the agent: no markdown files, no technical setup, and no configuration outside a chat window.

The intended audience is clear from the framing: indie hackers, solopreneurs, product managers, startup founders, marketers, and developers who want their agent to carry domain expertise from the start rather than re-teaching it across sessions. That positioning addresses a real friction point in agentic tooling, where context and specialization have historically required manual re-establishment at the start of each workflow.

Base44 is the AI agent and app-building platform founded by Maor Shlomo as a solo bootstrapped project. It reached 300,000 users and $3.5 million in annual recurring revenue within six months before being acquired by Wix for $80 million. The platform handles database, authentication, hosting, and deployment for applications built on top of it, with Superagents serving as the autonomous execution layer. The acquisition placed Base44 inside one of the largest website infrastructure companies globally, giving the product a distribution footprint that few agentic platforms at this stage can match.

The Skills library marks the first offering of its kind across platforms in this category. While agentic AI tooling has expanded rapidly, most tools have focused on workflow automation and tool integrations rather than packaged, persistent domain expertise. Base44's approach treats skills as a durable configuration rather than one-time prompts, separating it from platforms where an agent's knowledge scope resets with every new session.

Superagents with Skills are live now for all Base44 users.
