# WhatsApp made large link previews available to beta users

In beta version 2.21.17.15 it is now possible to see bigger previews on links that were sent to the chat. This change was tested in July and now seems to be rolling out to everyone. Previously, the media preview was square on the left and now it becomes a bigger rectangular on top of the message. Link previews that were sent in the past will remain small instead.
