This functionality was mentioned in the last changelog for its Android app but became available only recently. There you can mute a selected profile from the profile page and also see a list of all muted accounts in a separate setting menu.
How to test:
- Open someone's profile from the feed.
- Tap on a 3-dots menu.
- Select the "Mute user" option.
The feature should be already available to everyone.
