Telegram is getting voice chats for channels and you may get a chance to hear Pavel Durov talking over there too
Having voice chats in groups was not enough to take over potential Clubhouse audience and now we have them in channels too. Along with that, we've got a "raise a hand" feature that allows admins to manage their voice chat properly.
Should we have our own voice chat session over there? I am not the best speaker but would definitely organise something if there is enough interest. Please reply with "yes" if you are in!
📲 Now you can turn your Telegram channel into Clubhouse chat in version 7.6.0 beta for Android
Google lens got its own image gallery
This is a small feature that simplifies the whole process a lot. Now it just takes fewer clicks to access your screenshots or other images. By the way, how do you use Google Lenses?
📲 Now you can donate images to Google Lens from its new in-app image gallery
TestingCatalog now has a search functionality on the web
I am in the process to restructure some parts of the blog and adding a search feature makes it easier to navigate around. If you don't know if the feature was covered already or not, you can type its name to search across our headlines.
📲 TestingCatalog got search functionality along with other speed and design improvements on web
Yuka and CryptoTab browser that is mining bitcoins on your phone
Yuka is a simple app that can scan codes on your groceries and shows you a summary if they have any good or bad ingredients. It has a beta version too.
Cryptotab browser has a beta version as well and it aims to mine some Bitcoins for you. I would recommend researching this topic yourself before jumping on this app. It is built on Chromium and relies a lot on the referral system but worth checking if you are interested in crypto in general. Thanks to Christina for the tip!
