# Snapchat moves its Scan button to the home screen on Android

This feature came along with the latest beta version 11.36.0.31 but it is not yet clear if it is already available to everyone or not. A new [Scan](https://scan.snapchat.com/?ref=testingcatalog.com) button, that was previously hidden on the camera view was moved to the middle of the bottom nav bar on the main home screen of the app.

Tapping on that button will trigger a scan process and some results will pop up in a bottom slider. There you may see a list of related lenses so you can apply them immediately to the given context. Other Snapchat Scan features can be also triggered from the same slider. There you can try to solve a math problem or figure out the bread of the dog.

### How to test:

- Open Snapchat and see a Scan button in the middle.
- Tap on the Scan button.
- Explore results.
