Instagram shared an announcement on Twitter about the public availability of their new global sticker against online bullying. It seems like a follow up to the post by the Instagram team from July 2019 where they committed to "lead the fight against online bullying"
Our mission is to connect you with the people and things you love, which only works if people feel comfortable expressing themselves on Instagram. We know bullying is a challenge many face, particularly young people. We are committed to leading the industry in the fight against online bullying, and we are rethinking the whole experience of Instagram to meet that commitment.
This is is a very rare case when Instagram releases something globally and it immediately becomes available to everyone and not just to a limited group of users.
The new sticker is available on the main stickers tab in the story editing mode. You can simply stick it to your story and hit the publish button.
All story viewers will see a short tooltip with "learn more" text on top of this sticker. The tooltip with open a short pop-up with a description of what is it about.
It is not clear yet for how long this sticker will stay available and if the Instagram team has any other "global" stickers planned.
On a side note. There is a new "Haunted TV" sticker available on Instagram in the story creation mode which will probably stay here until the end of Halloween. Have you tried any of these already?
