Dropbox Beta Community Report 📲 POCOPHONE F1

Dropbox is a cloud storage solution with 2GBs of free space for every new user and has a promotional offer right now with 30GBs for free for the first month if you sign up for one of their monthly subscription plans. Its Android client is simple to use and has tons of features to make your file sharing experience and switching from one device to another seamless. The latest version 124.1.4 beta has arrived with two incremental UI changes and a nifty feature for those who happen to forget their passwords often.

First of all, let's see the changelog from the Play Store for this update and then we will proceed to the part where we will share further details about the things that have been freshly introduced here.

  • New Home experience with tabs for Recent and Starred files
  • Search results now show the folder path to each item
  • Sign in with a magic link if you’ve forgotten your password

Right off the bat, we see the brand new tabbed interface when we launch Dropbox. There are two tabs at the top, right below the action bar - one for your recent files and folders and another one for your starred ones. Previously, the home page has been divided into sections in a single list, so this tab approach helps to keep things more organized. The second bullet point in the changelog refers to the fact that the search results do show the exact folder path to every item there, so another tiny change, but makes a world of difference. The last thing is the ability to sign in with a magic link if you have forgotten your password. But my guess is that you may need to request one first and then access it from your inbox.
