One in a million in terms of design, style and ease of use, Fleksy can be considered being part of the limited number of true alternatives to keyboards like SwiftKey and Gboard in the Android space, if you do not mind the missing swipe for typing, completely replaced with other handier gestures.
Its most recent beta update, which bumps the version number to 9.7.6 is available for testing and has baked in two new great features you would certainly appreciate.
We have partnered with GIPHY, the world’s most popular GIF platform to offer you the largest choice of GIFs and Stickers available on the Internet.
Easily edit your text with Cursor Control!
Just long-press on the space bar to make it appear.
With theme support and searching on the Web and YouTube right from the keyboard already built-in, the freshly added GIF and sticker search features seem to make Fleksy look even more appealing to me. Let me know in the comments what are your thoughts on this. But I digress. You can access those directly by hitting the magnifying glass icon on the top left portion of the keyboard and selecting the desired option. Fleksy has partnered with GIPHY so that you can enjoy millions of GIFs and express yourself far better. A useful gesture-based feature is cursor control has also been added, which works relatively well as an initial implementation. Just long-press on the space bar to trigger it and Bob's your uncle. It is similar to how Gboard does it, but a little better to my surprise because the whole keyboard space acts as a gesture pad, instead of liming the swipable area to just the space bar in Google's counterpart.
Well, to wrap things up, I would truly recommend you to give Fleksy beta a spin because it looks very promising if we count the newest beta.
