The open-source, simple, secure and fast messaging app Signal received a new beta update just today, bumping the version number to 4.32.4. This release brings one must-have feature and, of course, more goodies like additional language support. Below are the release notes from Google Play.
★ Quickly send multiple pictures and videos. Share an album of albums to show off your vintage vinyl collection. Caption several seemingly identical photographs of majestic sunsets from your recent vacation and deliver them all at once.
★ Say "Olá" to improved formatting for Brazilian phone numbers.
★ Hindi, Quechua, and Welsh join the list of supported languages. Thank you to the volunteer translators who made this possible.
Sending multiple photos or videos is something available on every single messenger app right from the bat, but, strangely enough, Signal has chosen to join the party much much later. So, you can send more than a picture or a video in a chat by long-pressing on your desired files and hitting the check mark at the top right, but to get there, you will have to tap on the '+' button at the bottom of a chat page and select the Gallery option.
