IMDb.com is a website where you can watch trailers, track your must-see list, rate your favorite movies and TV shows, and find some new ones to watch as well. Its Android client has an ongoing beta program on the Play Store and there is a new version up for testing. The build number is 220.127.116.11720200 and comes along with performance enhancements and other tweaks jammed in. First of all, let's see the changelog that has been provided for it.
We've improved the look and feel of using search - and we've added Recent Searches! We've also updated the Watchlist with new sorts and filters, and improved performance on all user lists throughout the app. We now support Turkish and Hindi display languages. Finally, we added the ability to pull-to-refresh title and name pages. Thanks for using IMDb!
The IMBd app will keep your recent searches in a compact list below the search bar whenever you hit the search button, so you can access them faster and exactly when needed.
Sorts and filters in the Watchlists
There are newly introduced sorting options such as by date added, release date, rating, etcetera, and filtering by title type, ways to watch, genres, content rating, and your rating. You can access the Watchlist page by taping on the user avatar in the action bar on the main screen and then selecting the Watchlist option. Hitting the three horizontal lines below the search icon there will present you with all of the sorting and filtering settings that are available.
New languages and pull-to-refresh
The newly added languages with this beta are Turkish and Hindi, and the popular pull-to-refresh gesture has also been included and can be triggered in every description page for movies and TV shows throughout the app.
