Phone Beta (Google App) Community Report 📲 Huawei P8, Android 6.0

The Google Phone app is exclusively available for Google Pixel and Nexus devices and recently saw some minor UI updates until now. Following the new Android Messages and Google Contacts updates, the Phone app also received the latest interface revamp in the form of version 23, which is based on the Material Design 2 guidelines.

Dark mode

In the changelog for version 23, Google teases that Dark mode will be coming soon after it was made official with the Android Messages v3.5 release. This is good news for many of you who love dark modes, including me.

Note: The Google Phone app is available for Google devices only, or for custom ROM users using OpenGApps. You can grab the latest APK file with version number 23.0.208561757 from APKMirror.com. It supports Android 7.0 and above (API 24).
