Below are the official release notes from Google Play available for each version.

Changelog

v7.2.0 beta

Introducing Tags, a new way to discover streamers on Twitch!

Use Tags to filter the Browse tab and find new streams. Use Tags to find game genres, or specific stream types, like a "Casual Playthrough."

You'll also see Tags alongside each category or stream anywhere thumbnails appear in the app.

v7.3.0 beta

Bug fixes, stability fixes, and app optimizations

The 7.2.0 beta, which actually got released last month, added a new Tags feature, bringing a much easier and convenient way of discovering streams and streamers on Twitch. You can use Tags to find streams for specific genres like FPS, MMORPG and a lot more in the Browse tab. Meanwhile, games and streamers also have tags displayed alongside their thumbnails and names/titles, which makes it easier to find out to which genre they belong to.

The most recent update is actually v7.3.0 (non-beta) and is going to hit the Play Store soon, but it can be sideloaded by downloading from APK Mirror as well.
