    Hi there, beta users!

    Microsoft launcher v4.10 is now fully available for you starting from today!

    this is a major release, in this release, we bring you some exciting features like Microsoft Family on Launcher, Visual Search, Microsoft Rewards, new wallpaper experience, and new App drawer layout.You will see detailed information on these feature additions in the what's new section below. You can now try this by installing from the Google Play Beta store.

    Here's what's new for v4.10:
    - Microsoft Family: Parents with Microsoft Launcher can now view the last known location and activity report for their children across their Android phone, Windows PC and Xbox console! (Requires Android 4.4+ for parent devices and 5.0+ for child devices)
    - Search: Introducing Visual Search. Use the camera function through the Launcher Search bar to capture images and intelligently recognize celebrities, landmarks, items, apparel and more!
    - Microsoft Rewards (US only): Now Microsoft Rewards customers can see their Rewards balance in the Launcher Feed and earn points for using Bing Search through Microsoft Launcher;
    - Wallpaper: UX improvements and bug fixes;
    - UX improvements-
    support deleting documents through Documents card;
    welcome animation enhancements;
    * Improvements to folder naming experience
    - Additional crash/bug fixes

    How to get the Beta version of Launcher:

    • Go to https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.microsoft.launcher
    • Click "Become a tester". You'll see a confirmation "You are now a tester."
    Moving forward, you'll always get the latest Beta build when it's available, as long as Microsoft Launcher is running.

    How to set up Family features on Launcher
    • Create a family including your kids at account.microsoft.com/family.
    • Install the beta version of Launcher on your Android device and sign in with your adult account during setup.
    • On your device, swipe right to see your Family card in the feed. Follow the steps to send an email or text to your child to have them install Launcher on their device.
    • After your child installs Launcher, have them sign in with their Microsoft account. During setup, give Launcher permission to access location and app usage.
    • Turn on location sharing and activity reporting for each child from your device.
    o On your Family card, for each child, select Turn on location sharing > More options > Find [your child] on a map. Then turn on See my child’s location on a map.
    o Select Activity and turn on Activity reporting. You’ll also have the option to turn on weekly email reports.
    • Once both parent and child devices are set up, parents can start seeing their child's device location and app activity.

    The beta build may need a couple of hours to propagate before you will see it in your Google Play download link, and please keep the feedback coming! As always, we thank you for your support.
