# OpenAI’s Canvas evolves with html tools, React not ready yet

OpenAI continues to enhance its rendering capabilities for Canvas, aiming to support html and JavaScript rendering. The latest web release introduced a new loading animation and seamless html page rendering, which significantly improves its ability to visualize SVGs and various charts. It already allows users to create web pages to better present their data.

React applications, however, [seem to still be under development](https://www.testingcatalog.com/openai-developing-react-rendering-and-text-transform-for-chatgpt-canvas/). In my test, for example, the process got stuck during the installation of required packages, and the application didn’t load. While it has worked in some cases before, it’s likely that this issue will be resolved soon. Hopefully, we’ll see another release improving this feature.
