# ICYMI: Firefox got personalized homepage showing recent tabs, search results and more

Some of these updates came as a part of the [version 96 release](https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/android/96.0/releasenotes/?ref=testingcatalog.com). On both, homepage and new tab pages, you will see hints explaining newly changed items.

The home page experience can be also customised in settings where you can turn off unnecessary categories. A new tab would have inactive tabs being collapsed but this setting can be changed as well.
