Google is set to roll out a wave of updates across its ecosystem, with a particular focus on image generation for its Gemini platform. Recently, Google employees shared images generated by Gemini, fueling speculation that a fresh image generation feature is imminent.

While it’s unclear if this will take the form of a new Imagen model or an upgrade to the existing Native image generation (similar to Gemini Flash 2.0, which already supports image editing), the update may target the 2.5 series, either Flash or Pro, especially after Imagen’s recent jump to version 4.
