Google Assistant prompts users to unlock more assistant features from Google partners and screen context

After opening your Google app, you may notice a prompt toast at the bottom. The "Get Started" button will start a wizard that will guide you through several screens.
The first one offers new commute options that may be based on the information from Google partners. An example of this will be a scooter service or a taxi service that allows you to see how much time will your route take.

The second screen allows you to enable the screen context option if it was not enabled previously. This feature gives Google permission to use the context from your screen to improve their assistant suggestions.

How to test:

  • Open a Snapshot tab on the Google app.
  • See if there is a new toast message at the bottom.

These features were available to some users before as well.
