# Gemini web updates hint at potential Image Editing features

Gemini for the web has recently seen some updates, including a new placeholder for a release announcement targeting August 22nd. This brings the total to five placeholders, with one already set for August 23rd. Notably, the recent Pixel event announcement from August 13th hasn't been reflected on the Gemini website yet. The rollout of Gemini Live is expected to conclude around these dates, meaning all users should have access by then. As a result, the upcoming announcement might not be particularly significant.
