# Elon Musk confirms Grok 3 launch for Monday with live demo at 8 PM PT

Elon Musk recently announced that the launch of Grok 3 is scheduled for the upcoming Monday, with a demo presentation at 8 PM Pacific Time. This means that in Europe, the announcement will occur around 5 AM on Tuesday. Musk also mentioned that Grok 3 will be the smartest AI on Earth, and the team will be preparing for this release throughout the entire weekend. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

In addition to this, [two models on the LM Arena](https://www.testingcatalog.com/mystery-ai-models-on-lm-arena-could-they-be-grok-3-or-opus-3-5/), named Chocolate and Kiwi, seem to have disappeared. Users suspect these to be Grok 3 and Grok 3 Mini, respectively. According to tests from LM Arena and [earlier leaks](https://www.testingcatalog.com/exclusive-grok-3-model-from-xai-spotted-ahead-of-its-anticipated-release/), Grok 3 appears to be extremely powerful. It remains unclear whether it will be released with Thinking capabilities immediately, which have been observed earlier. However, this possibility is very likely. We will know more on Monday.

Overall, it’s quite interesting that Elon Musk has been very transparent about what will be announced and when, while other companies typically keep these details under wraps 👀
