# DuckDuckGo beta got a new search widget with favourite shortcuts

Beta version 5.93.0 came along with a new widget that has additional space for websites that you marked as favourites. This widget supports dark mode and system-wide dark mode as well. In addition, you can expand it to have more slots visible below the widget.

### What's new?

> The new DuckDuckGo widget lets you search or visit your favorite sites in a flash.

Previously, a similar widget was found in testing on Chrome.
