# Discord pushed new profile customisations to more users on Android

The latest stable [changelog](https://www.testingcatalog.com/discord-made-threads-feature-available-on-android/) update came along with new features for user profiles where it should be possible to add an About me text along with a custom background. However, it was not yet available on Android to everyone back then and this feature was rolled out gradually afterwards.

Nitro users also will get a bonus here that allows them to set their own profile background instead of a plain colour option that comes for free.
