# ChatGPT Advanced Voice Mode now rolling out to desktop browsers

OpenAI recently announced that the Advanced Voice Mode will soon become available on the web for desktop browsers. This feature is rolling out gradually per device, meaning you might see it on one browser but not another initially. However, a full rollout is expected shortly.

It was also mentioned that the Advanced Voice Mode will become available to free users in the coming weeks. While this suggests a potentially extended timeline, the inclusion of free users is clearly planned.

OpenAI, the company behind [ChatGPT](https://www.testingcatalog.com/tag/chatgpt/), designed the Advanced Voice Mode to allow natural and conversational AI interactions through voice. This functionality enables users to interact with ChatGPT using voice, similar to the voice interaction features already available on desktop and mobile apps. 

The availability of this feature on the web likely represents the final step in its public release. The next anticipated feature from OpenAI is the introduction of Vision capabilities for Advanced Voice Mode, which will expand its functionality further.
