# Anthropic is developing automated data export feature for Claude

A new feature is being developed to allow users to export all their data. This feature will trigger a background task, sending your data via email with a 24-hour valid link. It is not yet publicly available but will appear in the settings menu under the account tab once it is.

This feature aims to help [Claude](https://www.testingcatalog.com/tag/claude/) comply with EU GDPR regulations, which require companies to provide a way for users to retrieve all the data collected about them. Handling these requests manually via email is not sustainable.

Anthropic is the company behind [Claude](https://www.testingcatalog.com/tag/claude/), which provides access to Antrophic Cloud 3 models. In addition to the new data export feature, Claude’s web solution is constantly evolving. They are also [working on a UI overhaul](https://www.testingcatalog.com/claudeai-rolled-out-redesigned-ux-with-prompt-suggestions-and-recent-chats-feature/), which will introduce many new features and significantly improve the user experience.
