# Anthropic bridges feature gap with Google Drive support for Claude

Anthropic has recently released an update for Claude, introducing a feature that allows paid plan users to connect their Google Drive accounts and attach Google Docs and Spreadsheets directly to conversations. The update is prominently announced with a banner on the homepage. When users click the banner, they are prompted to connect their Google account. After connecting, users can access a drop-down menu displaying their documents, significantly simplifying file management and enabling quicker access to their files.
